Tandem Cycling are very similiar to the traditional cycling. Neccesary driving for blind cyclist makes this sports tandem cycling, for guide or pilot sitting front , but blind or visually impaired cyclist- in the back.

Tandem Cycling for blind people started in 1973. in France and for part of IBSA programme became in 1988. In paralympics first blind cyclists participated in Barecelona in 1992. and since 1989. IBSA in this sports regullary organize world and continental competitions.

In all 3 categories B1, B2 and B3- competing against each other in men, women and mixed road competitions, and in truck time trial.
