On October 10, “Rīgas satiksme” placement organised year’s LNSS championship in novuss, bringing together a total of 15 players. Four of them also women. The tournament followed the Swiss system and 7 rounds were played, during which the winners of the award-winning places were also identified in competition between women and men.

Irēna Lāce won a first place in the women’s competition, who would be ranked third together in men’s and women’s category. Irina Elstiņa became the second champion, while third place got Baiba Ņikolajeva.

In the men’s competition was 11 participants and a convincing first place were won by Ruslans Vercinsks who gave the others no hope of victory.
The second place was equally stable for Vitālijs Mališevs from city – Cēsis, while another participant from this city – Viktors Zarinš, ranked third place.

We look forward to continuing our successful cooperation with Anton Armuško next year too, who was the main judge of the competition. For the second year, thanks have also been given to the “Rīgas satiksme” placement, where the competition was held
